Littleflower Penstemon (Penstemon procerus) is a beautiful little penstemon species with blue-purple flowers arranged at the top of the stem in a showy cluster. With a bloomtime that begins in early summer and can last until late summer, this is a great option for extending the bloomtime of purple penstemons in your yard! Littleflower Penstemon makes a great addition to rock gardens, dry beds and borders, and prairie and meadow plantings. Like other penstemons, Littleflower is very attractive to pollinators and hummingbirds.
