Lowly Penstemon (Penstemon humilis) is a charming, compact, penstemon that features attractive evergreen foliage topped with tubular flowers in shades of blue and purple. Standing 2 feet tall or less, this little penstemon is a lovely addition to sunny garden beds and borders, edges of woodland or shade plantings, green roofs, or rock gardens. Lowly Penstemon is very attractive to native pollinators and even hummingbirds!
