Munro's Globemallow (Sphaeralcea munroana) is a gem for xeric gardening. This sub-shrub features silvery green foliage and salmon or pale orange colored-blossoms that adorn the plant during the summer months. These blooms attract several species of bees and butterflies! Plant Munro's Globemallow in xeric garden beds and borders, rock gardens, containers, or even Mediterranean-style plantings. Grows well in dry, poor soil and does not tolerate overwatering.
