Silky Phacelia (Phacelia sericea) is an attractive, long-lasting perennial perfect for xeric gardening and rock gardens. The plant features attractive foliage and cylindrical clusters of showy purple flowers that attract bees and butterflies. Use this plant to add brilliant blue/purple color to dry garden beds and borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, or prairie or meadow gardens.
Contact with the hairs of the plant can cause dermatitis.
