Yellow Beeplant (Cleome lutea) is a fast growing annual wildflower with attractive foliage and cheerful yellow flowers that can last from late spring to late summer depending on weather and temperature. The leaves feed multiple species of native caterpillars and the blossoms attract a wide range of native pollinators. Seed pods and flowers can also appear on the plant at the same time for an interesting combination. Plant in sunny naturalistic prairie or meadowscapes, cottage gardens, or pollinator gardens.
